Australian company thinks it is amusing to mock dead animals to promote its product.
The issue
Tradie Underwear, an Australian company, mocks dead animals to sell its products. In this case dead sheep.
Tradie Underwear appears to find the mocking of dead sheep amusing in its utterly tasteless ad which states 'grinning like a dead sheep' to describe how you will feel in its underwear. It would appear that this Australian company is grossly out of touch with the publics expectations when it comes to how animals are viewed. It may find these words to be nothing more than 'little light hearted humour' but given how sheep are treated, it really isn't funny at all.
Australia was built on the sheep's back so it's utterly tasteless for an Australian company to be down right so disrespectful.
Sheep are one of Australia's most exploited farm animals. For decades sheep have been live exported to the Middle East to meet the most violent deaths, wonder if those sheep were grinning. In fact right now Australian sheep are being violently slaughtered as part of the Eid sacrifice which takes places all over the Middle East. The ad is vile and shows nothing but contempt for sheep, it also sends out the worst kind of message, and that is that sheep don't matter and it's ok to mock them.
Big W, Best and Less,Mitre 10 and Masters Hardware all stock Tradie Underwear, surely this businesses don't want to be linked with such tasteless 'humour'.
Don't support Tradie Underwear until it stops using such tasteless comments towards animals to sell its products.
