During today’s Press Conference at the Sheboygan County Humane Society, we learned that charges have not yet been filed against the owners of Kinship Companion Kennels. We were told that next week individuals will be charged. We did see the dogs. They are currently being well cared for by the Sheboygan Humane Society. Approximately 40 dogs were found dead on the property. These dogs were found decomposing in two large chest freezers on the property. As the Sheriff Department completes their report more information will become known to the public. The Sheriff’s Department stated this “was one of the more extreme cases of animal abuse.” These horrific animal abusers must be punished to the full extent of the law. Animal neglect and abuse will not be tolerated. We must continue to be advocates for these innocent victims.
