Despite the article in the Sacramento Business Journal, the card room group has notified the city that they ARE NOT backing away from their plans to open a 24/7/365 card room and bar at the Outlets.

But…the great news is that our emails, letters, calls, and attendance at meetings ARE having an impact on our city leadership.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

• Keep writing letters of opposition to city leadership. This is our website link: Keep Natoma Station Safe to a page where we have listed all the council and planners email addresses that you can easily copy and paste into your email server. Our website has information about talking points, and tons of other useful information, as well. Letters do not have to be long and elaborate, just voicing your opposition is great, too! We will be updating the site as new developments arise. 

Our biggest and best asset in this fight is our numbers in opposition.

• Share the petition if you haven’t already! It’s super easy and just takes a minute. As of today, we have over 380 signatures! Let's try to get over 400!
• Join us at upcoming meetings. You don’t have to get up and speak, just showing up in person demonstrates our unity and commitment to opposing this type of establishment in our neighborhood.
• Spread the word. Ask neighbors who aren’t on social media to do their part in the opposition. If they aren’t online, they can write letters or call city leadership.
