I think many fruets, Vegetables and herbs, were named in the Arabic Language according ro their psychological function on humans. for example, the cucumber , in Arabic "Khiar" has a synonyem meaning , meaning "choice ", at the same time, and the smell and taste of cucumbers does hold the psychological manipulation and feeling of freedom, choice and democracy. There are many links on Arabic between words of food and words of other meanings. For example the word for beans in Arabic is "Fasulia" , and "Fasal" in Arabic means to seperate.  Evolution of language is linked to truths and our collective understanding of truths.
