My theory

People have needs, and when they see a human who is dressed and looks like the human for the job that should fulfill one of their nessery needs, either economic or spiritual or sexual.. , they get a strong desire and interest towards that dressed up human, and they prioritise him over other issues. mood and the current sorrounding  situation could interfere negatively, though, I say that the effect of the prototyped human on the needy's desire to engage attention towards him is strong, and that the needy human wil get possitive thoghts and  feelings that are significantly strong towards the prototyped human.
