  1. Florida State Senator, Gary Farmer, stated that “he was sickened by the actions of the BSO deputies last week and that it was police brutality plain and simple.” read more here.
  2. In a meeting with Broward’s Black Elected Officials, Sheriff Gregory Tony stated that “Any time a white deputy is involved in contact with using force on a black youth, this thing blows up”. read more here
  3. Broward State Attorney, Mike Satz, states that the incident is under investigation by his office. Also, that he will be meeting with Lucca’s attorney. Read more here

  5. The family set up a Gofundme for Lucca’s Attorney fees. Click here to donate.
  6. The moment they decided to reassign Krickovich and not LaCerra is the moment that they inadvertently admitted that there was a stark difference between their use of force. Both used excessive force but Krickovich went ballistic, enough to get him benched. Given the latter, let’s see how they proceed.

  9. Jeff Bell, President of The BSO deputy association states that Lucca was sprayed because he took a step forward. Read more here. As I stated, Lucca's head was aggressively shoved and it knocked him off balance, then he tried to regain his balance.
