Recently, after a two-month search by the Islamic Republic of Iran, Katayoun Riahi was found in one of her villas in Qazvin (located 150 km northwest of Tehran) and arrested. Now, the government detained her and no one knows where the government took her. 

Security-institutions-affiliated news channels reported that prominent actress Katayoun Riahi was arrested by security forces, allegedly for supporting nationwide protests. According to HRANA, the news agency of Human Rights Activists, security forces detained actress Katayoun Riahi in Qazvin County.
