A widely requested feature of the Google assistant is to allow custom wake words, and/or have Google supply different wake words to use. Google responds to tickets/requests on their support pages with generic "we'll forward your idea on" messaging. Google hasn't even given an official reason as to why they lack this customization. Even Alexa allows you to change its wake words to a couple other words, and "Alexa" is a thousand times easier to say than "Hey Google".

This petitions mission is to gather enough signatures to get Google's attention and start the discussion on custom/alternative wake words. This is for both Google Assistant and Google home devices.
