Reminder: Umbrella Day Silent Protest, Tomorrow August 29th at 9:00a

Friends!

Just a reminder we'll be protesting the absolute refusal of the Mayor and half of the city council to reconsider the use of Flock Safety in Woodstock with a silent protest a tomorrow's farmer's market. Bring an umbrella and pop it open at 9:00a while you go about your shopping. The point is to make a visual statement that we see the cameras, we know what they can do, we don’t want them in our community, and we are not backing down.

Woodstock Pride is offering loaner rainbow umbrellas available starting at 8:30a at The Records Department 315 E South St or at the Stop Flock In Woodstock booth on the square at 101 S Benton St. Participate for as long as you'd like and we ask if you borrow an umbrella to please return it to either location when you are done.

WIth the new surveillance infrastructure blanketing the square, you may want to avoid driving through or parking on the square.
