In recent days, we’ve finally had the chance to enjoy the second season of Arcane, the series based on the video game League of Legends, hailed by both audiences and critics as a masterpiece.

Riot Games, the creators of the game, take the opportunity to release new skins for the champions featured in the series, including Warwick.

In the Netflix series, Warwick’s design has been partially reimagined compared to the traditional videogame version: Warwick is depicted without a tail, and his face has lost many of its wolf-like features.

This artistic choice, undoubtedly carefully considered, has caused discontent among some players.

As a result, Riot Games released the Arcane Warwick skin in a way that doesn’t fully align with the character as portrayed in the series, depicting him with both a tail and a wolf-like face.

This compromise, however, impair the very purpose of a celebratory skin…. To paying tribute to something it doesn’t resemble!

With this petition, however, we are not asking Riot Games to remove this "compromise" skin, as it was designed to gain approvation of “radical” players, whose personal preferences deserve respect…..

On the contrary, precisely because it’s important to respect everyone’s tastes…

WE ASK THAT A SECOND ARCANE WARWICK SKIN BE ADDED, ONE THAT FAITHFULLY REFLECTS THE AESTHETICS AS SEEN IN THE SERIES.

This way, both those attached to Warwick’s traditional appearance and those open to reinterpreting him in new ways will be accommodated.

I say this as a League of Legends player;
I say this as a Warwick main;
I say this as a fan of the Netflix series.

And all the signatories of this petition echo countless similar sentiments, all united by the desire to respect everyone’s opinions and personal tastes.

Vogliamo un aspetto accurato di Arcane Warwick in League of Legends!

In questi giorni abbiamo potuto finalmente fruire della seconda stagione di Arcane, serie basata sul videogioco League of Legends, salutata dal pubblico e dalla critica come un capolavoro.

Riot games, creatrice del gioco in questione, ha colto l’occasione per rilasciare nuovi aspetti (detti skins) dei campioni che vengono rappresentati nella serie, tra cui anche Warwick.

Nella serie Netflix Warwick è stato riadattato in parte rispetto all’estetica del videogame: è rappresentato senza la coda e il suo volto ha perso buona parte delle fattezze da lupo.

Questa scelta artistica, sicuramente ragionata e ponderata, ha però suscitato malcontento da parte di alcuni videogiocatori.

A causa di ciò Riot games ha rilasciato la skin di Arcane dedicata a Warwick in modo non fedele al personaggio rappresentato nella serie, raffigurandolo comunque con la coda e il volto da lupo.

Questa scelta di compromesso, svuota in parte il senso stesso di una skin celebrativa…. Che rende tributo a qualcosa a cui non assomiglia!

Con la presente petizione tuttavia, ciò che chiediamo a Riot Games non è la rimozione di questa skin “di compromesso” poiché è fatta per ottenere l’approvazione dei giocatori “radicali” e il loro gusto personale merita rispetto….

Ma proprio perché è opportuno rispettare i gusti di tutti….

CHIEDIAMO CHE SIA AGGIUNTA UNA SECONDA SKIN DI ARCANE WARWICK CHE SIA FEDELE ALLE SEMBIANZE DEL PERSONAGGIO VISTO NELLA SERIE.

In tal modo sia chi è radicato all’aspetto tradizionale di Warwick, sia chi è aperto a nuovi modi di intenderlo verrà rispettato.

Lo dico come giocatore di League of Legends;

Lo dico come main di Warwick;

Lo dico come fan della serie Netflix.

E tutti i firmatari di questa petizione sostengono altre mille ragioni simili, tutte unite nel rispetto delle opinioni e dei gusti personali di ognuno.
