This is a petition, requesting a free and fair investigation of the alleged allegations against Swami Aseemananda.

We urge you, the reader, to look into the past and present evidence, and the overall circumstances that governed the arrest, supposed self-confession and the media-trial of a great humanitarian, and rights activist a few months back, on alleged terror charges. The responsibilities of these attacks were previously investigated in detail and attributed to Pan-Islamic groups, and were conclusively accepted by international bodies, including the United Nations and the Government of United States of America.

From being a grassroots worker, who spent more than three decades working amongst the poorest sections of the Indian population, in the remotest corners of the country and considered a national hero, by millions of tribals, Swami Aseemananda today faces torture and trial by media.
