This petition will be in support of a bill that DEMANDS Rhode Island Law Makers to put an end to the Unconstitutional Red Flag Law in 2020.  We The People will NOT tolerate or allow this direct government abuse of our most sacred civil liberties!  

In 2018, Rhode Island passed an draconian Red Flag law that not only suspends due process but also is a direct violation and infringement on our 2nd, 4th, 5th & 14th Amendments unalienable Constitutional God given rights!

Red Flag Laws let police confiscate guns without due process. Suspending the Constitution in a secret hearing is a Rubicon from which there is no return.

We The People must NOT allow our State Government to infringe on any of our rights.  I am calling upon all Rhode Islander's to sign and support this petition so next year I can present this as a bill to repeal this Unconstitutional law to protect all of our rights.

Remember, the Communist Soviets & German Nazis had a very same "Red Flag" law for their people to and look what happened to them.  This must be stopped now!

Under this Red Flag law, just by someone making false accusations against you, the police can kick in your door without notice day or night and would shoot or arrest anyone who attempted to resist including your entire family.  This puts your entire family in danger just because you are a gun owner by someone just picking up the phone calling the police telling them they feel that you are a danger and threat to them or themselves without no evidence whatsoever. 

This MUST END NOW!  Gun owners should NOT have to live in fear of the people they pay to protect & serve to be the ones killing them and violating their Constitutional rights over an accusation. This will NOT be tolerated at all and We The People must stand up and take action to put this draconian law that violates our Constitution to rest!
