The last few months have presented sufficient evidence that Mr. Mike Landis, President of the Warwick School District (WSD) School Board, has been derelict in his duties as a public officer under Title 65 (Public Officers) of Pennsylvania State Law.

He refuses to engage the public as he opened the September 7, 2021, board meeting by stating he “only performs his duties during convened WSD board meetings…and generally doesn’t respond to emails.”

Mr. Landis allowed vulgar books containing themes of sexual promiscuity, underage drinking, illicit drug abuse, and anti-police rhetoric into the curriculum for 9th graders. Books on gender identity issues have been made available to children as early as kindergarten.

Under his leadership, as of September 23, 2021, WSD is now denying in-person public education to any child who does not wear a mask at any public school within the district. After the third instance of refusal to comply, children will be disenrolled from in-person school and forced into a virtual school.

It is time for new leadership as he has broken public trust with his refusal to collaborate with the community and refusal to vote in a way that protects our Constitutionally-protected rights.

We the people demand the resignation of Mr. Mike Landis, effective immediately.
