Bengaluru metro, stop charging full tickets for children below 4yrs on 3ft height criteria

The Issue

There's a severe grievance which has to be addressed wherein Metro rail stations in Bangalore, India, on the green and purple lines have started charging full ticket for small children below 4 years on the basis of height obviously which is fixed to more than three feet, displayed at few stations which is a wrong practise. The little children who need assistance of parents or guardians for transit and moving on with life, little angels who cannot make or take decisions on their own, how can the metro rail dept authorities of bangalore metro expect these tiny toddlers to punch their ticket tokens for entry or deposit their ticket tokens to exit the journey? Are the kids wise enough in your opinion? Don't you feel these little children should be exempted from paying full fare?

And a question to general public who fully rely and depend on metro rail of bangalore, is it a fair practise to charge full tickets from little children of 4-5 years?

Therefore request the railway ministry and railway authorities to go through this petition and on consideration please make full tickets mandatory only for children above 10-12 years.

Request the Government to analyse this and pass a ordinance to stop collecting tickets from little toddlers. Come lets support this good cause and make the bangalore metro rail a boon to everyone.
