There is no doubt our country has a huge problem with the lack of protection of our children across the country. Children are supposed to look forward to school and be provided a safe and secure environment to encourage learning. As a mother of 4, I know first hand how America has failed our children. No longer are the days when children can attend school carefree. Children across America are now forced to attend school constantly in fear, watching their surroundings, being put through drills on how to react if someone enters their school with a gun.

When my elementary and middle school children came home and told me what they learned during their active shooter drill, I cried... we are now having to resort to teaching our children during these drills, to fight! Are you kidding me!?! This is America! No child should ever have to be taught how to fight for their lives!!! Not in America! Not in the greatest country in the world!

I come to you now in honor of Charlie Kirk as he was someone who taught us to speak up for our beliefs and I strongly believe this should be America's top priority. Please help me save our children. Reach out to your representatives in your state, write letters to the federal government, and make phone calls. If you have a connection to someone who can assist in this matter, now is the time to ask for that favor! Lets all stand up and demand that American children's safety is a priority across the nation. Enough is enough, we cannot lose another child or teacher to such a senseless and preventable tragedy!
