His glider should be his wheelchair, and he will put it down and rides it when he lands, then his back bling should be a mini life support machine it should show his pulse and his vitals. He should not have a pick axe and he runs his wheelchair into the object he is breaking.

Imagine a full squad of Hawkings coming at you.
