Arbitrary enforcement of archaic zoning codes have been been used for more than a year in harassing fashion to limit the successful growth of the Westover Beer Garden. Despite overwhelming community support, Arlington County continues to find ways to prevent this small business from flourishing. We the residents of the community, as well as patrons who come to Arlington to frequent the WBG, ask the Members of the Arlington County Board to (1) specifically address any and all code and other limitations current or pending with regard to WBG operating full time and with music; and (2) review all zoning, signing, and entertainment codes that unnecessarily limit small business in Arlington County.
