But EVERY side is acting for what they believe is the best interest of the University of Northern Iowa. That is what we need to seize on. We need to start presenting a united front. United so that students, faculty, administration, community members, legislators, taxpayers and more can see that what we care about is the future of UNI.

Who do we have confidence in? We have confidence in the University of Northern Iowa. We have confidence in this community of students, faculty, administration, community members, and politicians. We have confidence that people in power care about our education. We have confidence that we can create an atmosphere of transparency, civility, and respect for and from all.

While people have various opinions on current events, we're united in the belief that we care about our school and its future. We need to support UNI and work together with the taxpayers and legislators to make sure that education in Iowa is prioritized and we don't have to face cuts like these again.
