We, the undersigned residents and supporters of DeSoto, Texas, are coming together to voice our deep concern and disagreement with the termination of Parks & Recreation Director Chris Glover, a public servant many in this community have trusted, respected, and supported for more than two decades.

For over 20 years, Chris Glover has been more than an employee of the City. He has been a steady presence in the life of this city, supporting families, creating opportunities for youth, improving our parks and public spaces, and helping build the sense of community that makes DeSoto special.

Generations of residents know Chris not just as a leader, but as someone who shows up, listens, and puts the people of DeSoto first. His work has reflected integrity, commitment, and a genuine love for this city and its residents.

This petition does not seek to speculate about internal decisions or personnel matters. Instead, it serves as a unified message from residents who recognize the lasting impact Chris Glover has had on our community and who believe his leadership represents the true spirit of public service.
