Dearest signatory, 

The new Matatag Curriculum of the DepEd is going to be implemented this coming SY 2024-2025 in all schools in the grade school and junior high school level. Alongside this, the Araling Panlipunan for grade 7 has been revised as a course. It is now "Pilipinas sa Timog Silangang Asya" - a comparative Philippine History course with Southeast Asia. 

In order to discuss this development, we are inviting you to attend an academic forum on the matter.
