Are we Indians so uncouth that we don't give a damn about protecting nature? We have the least per capita forest cover in the world but even then we are hell bent on destroying our forests for private mining activity. And the perpetrator of that is the one who has not one but hundreds of petitions against him. He is in the process of destroying the Great Barrier Reef, causing billions of litres of water wastage in Australian coal mines and now has got the approval of the Indian Govt to destroy Hasdeo Forest in Chhattisgarh by cutting more than 2 Lakh trees. He is none other than our own Indian billionaire Mr. Goutam Adani.
