Nodaway Health Dept to allow “close contact” K-12 Students to Temp Mask over Quarantine.
The Issue
As Nodaway County residents, we hereby petition Tom Patterson and the Nodaway County Health Board of Directors, to allow K-12 students deemed “close contact” the option to forgo quarantine if they adhere to certain measures.
- Symptom Free
- Wear mask for as many days equal to quarantine time frame instructed by State & local health department.
- Twice a day symptom checks by school nurse
- social distance
- frequent hand washing
limit movement around facility when possible.
These measures stated above, are identical to the protocol deemed appropriate for each and every teacher and staff member who has been deemed “close contact” in the state of Missouri regardless is vaccination status.
