We hope you are all coming out to the meeting tomorrow (4/21) at Belle Meade City Hall at 4:30. The parking lot is the first thing on the agenda so be on-time!

There’s been some updates posted to the City website for the 4/21 BZA meeting: 

Briefly - 

1) Mary Samaniego at the City issued her staff report & recommend denial, saying the City code does not allow for a stand alone parking lot. 
2) The Church attorney responded & requested an appeal to the BZA of her decision. 
3) City attorney Doug Berry issued his legal opinion on the ordinances, consistent with the Staff opinion.

What you can do:  
1) Email the BZA members by emailing msamaniego@citybellemeade.org and asking the BZA to uphold the Staff findings.

2) Most importantly...come tomorrow & voice your opinion!

Remember:

A parking lot is not a church.

A parking lot does not belong on a front lawn of a historic estate.

105 Lynwood Blvd is NOT contiguous to 4715 Harding Rd (church address)...this matters!

Most importantly, a stand alone parking lot is not allowed under Belle Meade ordinances.
