On April 21, 2026, the Board of Zoning Appeals voted (6–1) to uphold Staff Recommendation and deny St. George’s application for the proposed stand-alone parking lot.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the members of the Board of Zoning Appeals, as well as to Mary Samaniego, Planning Director for the City of Belle Meade, and Douglas Berry, legal counsel for the City, for their commitment to upholding the ordinances that protect the integrity of our community and for their thoughtful consideration of the concerns raised by residents.

We are also grateful to our fellow neighbors who signed the petition and actively participated in preserving the character and safety of our historic neighborhood. Your engagement and support were instrumental in this outcome.
