Dear Neighbors, 

Last night at the Belle Meade Municipal Planning Commission, the commissioners voted to DENY St George's permission to split the lot at 105 Lynwood Blvd. They are requiring a full hydrology study and drainage plan if St. Georges choses to come back and attempt a third lot split proposal. Images were shown of flooding going far up the hill on the property. Haley Dale, vice mayor of Belle Meade, was very concerned about the safety of the residents of Belle Meade as were many other commissioners. 

We don't know how St George's will proceed. If you attend St George's or know people who do, strongly urge them to come up with a different solution. We believe that there are creative, more affordable solutions that could help them when they have parking struggles but dividing, selling the land and building a parking lot at 105 Lynwood Blvd is simply a dangerous idea. 

This parking lot also disrupts history and harmony of our beautiful Belle Meade. Thank you to those who spoke to that. Thank you for your support. Thank you for coming last night. Keep checking back for further updates.
