Force World Governments to Pay Factory Workers a Living Wage

Force World Governments to Pay Factory Workers a Living Wage
The Issue
We are Max and Matteo. We are grade 6 students at Royal St. George’s College in Toronto, Canada. For the past few months, we have been focused on how companies source materials, and how to make impacts to solve problems related to it. This petition is the action of all our work.
Many of the clothes, shoes, or cost-effective appliances you buy are sourced unethically. This means that people working in factories are not paid enough, are put through tough working conditions, and are not able to provide basic needs for their families. This needs to be fixed.
By signing this petition, you can show your support for these underpaid factory workers. After we receive signatures, this petition will be shown to the Government of Canada. We hope that they will take action, and create laws against companies sourcing unethically. Even better, they could share this cause with governments of countries where this is going on. Maybe they will impose laws against underpaying people in their factories.
Thank you for your consideration,
Max Mull and Matteo Maggi, Royal St. George’s College
