For the past four years, Brentwood Youth Activities (BYA) has spiraled on a downward path.  The place that served as a favorable harbor for the youth in our community has become neglected.  The same BYA fields that were once a staple for Brentwood athletes have become abandoned rotten fields.  The current state of the BYA fields do not align with BYA's mission statement: The BYA is dedicated to ensuring a safe and fun environment for children to enjoy and experience friendship and athleticism.

We are calling on Brentwood and local communities to sign our petition. We are also calling for the ATTENTION AND HELP OF THE TOWN OF ISLIP WHO OWNS SAID PROPERTY .  THIS PETITION IS CALLING FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE CURRENT PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES. The BYA is no longer ran by safety, fun, or morals, which include the real vision of the kids and community, as said in the mission statement. We deserve a well-kept field, a safe place for children to come after school and work on homework or projects. To be a place where a kid can learn a trade or skill that can potentially give direction to a young child’s life. The BYA has a legacy of producing young athletes in Brentwood. We want to make a new legacy by providing more than just athletics. We want to create the next video game engineer, the next architect, the next artist, the next designer, the next PRESIDENT OF THE USA. Let’s build towards a new future that encourages self-identity and helps pull kids towards the path of entrepreneurship.

WE, THE PEOPLE AND TAXPAYERS OF THIS COMMUNITY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHO LEADS US AND THE RIGHT TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DIRECTION OF OUR YOUTH CENTER FOR OUR CHILDREN. Finding new ways to reach out to the community  while providing Brentwood's youth with positive yet  impactful lessons and experiences that can change a life is the New BYA priorities
