My name is Kayla witek I am now 21 years old at the age of 18 i started dating a man who I thought was an amazing man I ended up being a victim of domestic violence at that time I was being held captive at his parents house i was being rapped had all my belongings taken from me and was constantly getting bashed and chocked it took me around 5 months to get away but when I got away I thought it was finally over until he started stalking me I tried my best to get help from the police but all they could do is give an avo now that wasn’t enough that didn’t stop him until the day he came to my parents house and stabbed me nine times he punctured my lung broke my ribs and my spine all while I was heavily pregnant 3 years now and he is still being held in a detention centre and is being protected to me that’s not enough this man came by boat he has no citizenship no visa so why is he being protected for what he did to me why is he being held in a detention center here in Australia this is not fair on me and my child I want justice and I want it now I want something to be done about this as soon as possible I want domestic violence to end and I want all of you to help me get the justice I need 

there are many women and children who are experiencing domestic violence and these criminals are getting away with it this is not fair on all of us that these men who are not even Australian are being protected for the crimes they do this is completely wrong and if you wanna help me make a change let’s stand together and make some noise END DOMESTIC
