Florida's Special Election for District 6 is over, and while not the outcome we had all worked so hard for, it was easy to recognize that something is brewing in the entire state.  Josh Weil supporters came out to donate time and money in record amounts for this rising political star who charmed the nation.

We are not ready to let Josh Weil go just yet and want him to represent Florida once again.  The future of Democratic politics in Florida needs someone who can bring a fresh view, especially among young voters.  Josh will bring the changes we need to the current political landscape by keeping the people he represents in the forefront of his policies.  Many voters were shocked when Josh himself knocked on their very doors leading up to the election. Not one candidate has used this approach in 20 or more years. District 6 voters finally felt recognized!

The sting of this close loss is fresh on our minds.  Let's keep this enthusiasm that Florida politics has not seen in years moving forward. So many people from all walks came out to work for Josh Weil in the few short weeks we had leading up to the election.  Now we have time on our side and this petition is an opportunity to show your support again.  Can we please ask you, your friends and family to sign this petition asking Josh Weil to once again run for office to represent the people of Florida?
