I received an email today that I found quite interesting to read.
I believe more incidents are happening than have been reported, which would explain why the crime level reported (in this email) is so low for the time specified.
The boys responsible for the attack on Sept 25th are still free to reoffend. They have already atracked several people and without the CCTV they will never be caught! Luckily this time, nobody was seriously hurt, but the next victim may not be so lucky.
Although the police have "increased plain clothed" patrols, I still think CCTV is a more sustainable way of catching these offenders. Who's to say that while police are patrolling the north entrance, someone isn't being attacked at the southern entrance?! CCTV would solve this dilemma. Police patrols do not.
