We need CCTV cameras along Alban Way, St Alban's!!

There have been numerous incidents where people have been experiencing violence, threats, theft and more whilst walking or cycling down Alban Way.

There are currently no cameras to offer protection against such events and this means offenders are getting away with committing these crimes.

On Wednesday 26th September, a man was attacked while cycling home via Alban Way. He was pushed off his bike and beaten. If it wasn't for a whitness recording this event, nobody would have been arrested nor charged for his assault.

If there was CCTV down Alban Way, the community would feel safer and these offenders will not continue to get away with these crimes! There have been a number of instances similar to this in the last few months and it will only get worse if we don't take some kind of action.

We need to protect our town! Please place CCTV cameras down Alban Way?!
