The Township of Uxbridge, in Southern Ontario is sitting on over 1.5 million dollars -- $700,000 of it raised by local community fundraisers and donations the rest of it -- by taxes.  That is enough money to start something.  Go back to the planning table Towns of Uxbridge/Scugog and come up with a plan to start using the money that is allocated for this new shelter to build something to benefit the animals of our communities.  The old shelter is out of date and no longer workable.  It has been that way for decades

Animals are suffering and dying -- there is no more time to wait.  Residents are tired of hearing your excuses.  They want some action on this project now.
