
During the May 13th OCLS Board of Trustees meeting it was announced that the City of Orlando Real Estate Management Division is expected to present a proposal to the OCLS about financing options for the construction of new branches in Lake Nona and Horizon West at the June 10th Library Board Meeting.
The Board of Trustees voted to discontinue the use of Zoom for future Board Meetings beginning with the June 10th meeting, so interested residents will need to attend in person at the Orlando Public Library to participate in this meeting. Please plan to attend in person if you are able!

Lucy Redzeposki - Vice Chair of the Lake Nona Area Library Campaign Committee
In addition, Melanie Williams, President of the Orange County Council of PTA & PTSA, spoke to express support of new libraries in both the Lake Nona and Horizon West communities.
