The library administration reported that the new book return drop box at Valencia College Lake Nona resulted in 793 materials returned in March and 616 for the first 8 days of April for a grant total of 1,409 books and materials returned by residents since the drop box was installed on March 16.

The library CFO Kris Shoemaker delivered an informative presentation about financial options to fund new library branches. Stakeholder discussions will continue to take place regarding the City of Orlando offer to co-locate a Lake Nona area branch on Dowden Road at the upcoming government center site.
