Hello Supporters,

Thank you for supporting our cause to retain a 50m pool at the VAC. Your support has resulted in the Park Board Commissioners asking their staff and the architects to re-visit the plan and see if a 50m pool is feasible within the footprint of the current structure. The staff are expected to report back in a month.

This is definitely positive, but this amendment only passed 3-2. We need to keep the pressure on until we get a final YES to the 50m pool AND an option for an alternate pool or site for the VAC so that all our users are not displaced during the construction.

We have gathered more than 12,500 signatures. We need to keep up the momentum and show the City that we are unrelentingly passionate about this cause and will hold them accountable.
