Thank you for adding your voice. In under a week, 500+ of us—dancers, parents, directors, and alumni—signed to ask FDF leadership to hear us and acknowledge our concerns. As many of you are aware, communities, directors, and participants have raised these issues with the FDF Management Team and Board for years. We’re speaking clearly and we’re united—awesome and inspiring.
Our message is simple: we love FDF, and as the main customers, we deserve a process that’s fair, transparent, and respectful.
About the FDF email many of you received: it was warm but vague. It did not address our core asks—sufficient room inventory, concrete dates (plan by late May 2026), announcing 2027 at the banquet, budget transparency, or a standing feedback forum. We don’t know if their message was prompted by the petition. Regardless, action on specifics is what matters. As we tell our children, actions speak louder than words.
Steps taken: We have formally emailed the petition results and requests to the Metropolitan, the Metropolis Council, and the FDF Board & Management Team. Next steps are in their hands.
Thank you again for your signatures, your support, and your love for this ministry. We’re hopeful that by speaking with one voice, we’ll finally be heard and respected—and that FDF will be stronger for the next generation.
