🚨 URGENT: SpaceX Explosion in Brownsville, TX

STOP THIS NOW!

👉 If you felt your home shake… if you’re scared for your family… if you believe this has gone TOO FAR , please SIGN and SHARE this petition right now. We MUST stop this before it’s too late.

At 11:01 PM on July 18, 2025, a massive explosion shook homes across Brownsville and neighboring cities. The cause?

A failed Static Fire Test of Ship 36 at SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Boca Chica.

The blast was felt in South Padre Island, Port Isabel, Laguna Heights, Laguna Vista, Bayview, Olmito, and beyond.

Our families panicked. Our windows rattled. Our homes swayed. Many didn’t even know what caused it until reports confirmed it was a SpaceX explosion, a danger we never agreed to.

🔥 This isn’t normal. This isn’t safe. And this CAN’T keep happening.

That’s why we need YOU to sign and share this petition to demand accountability from the agencies that are supposed to protect us.

🧨 What’s Happening

·       SpaceX Starbase is failing safely and publicly,  at our expense.

·       Explosions and noise are damaging our homes and frightening our children.

·       Our taxpayer-funded fire department is being used for a private company’s mess.

·       Boca Chica Beach is being turned into a private test zone, shutting out the public.

They want to normalize these explosions.

They want us to accept this as "progress."

But our families, our beaches, our wildlife, and our peace should NOT be sacrificed.

📍 The Problem Is Bigger Than One Explosion

The site sits just 3 miles from Texas LNG & Rio Grande LNG pipelines. A blast like this could shift underground pipes and trigger a catastrophic disaster.

Even worse, Starbase has no municipal fire department and relies on Brownsville emergency responders, draining our city’s resources while endangering the public.

SpaceX recently secured approval to create the City of Starbase, based only on its employees, housed in temporary tiny homes, while longtime Brownsville residents in District 14 were excluded from the vote.

👊 Brownsville and Cameron County — This Is Your Wake-Up Call

If we don’t stand up now, it may be too late.

We must demand:

·       Real investigations

·       Accountability for repeated explosions

·       Protection of our beach, our wildlife, our homes

·       NO expansion of unsafe operations near communities

🛑 Our coast is not a corporate playground.
