Let's Not forget that Katlyn was forced to believe that her Bio father didn't love or want her. This was an attempt to keep him from all contacts with his daughter. Tammy made false accusations to obtain an order of protection. Which didn't allow him to contact his daughter or he would go to jail. Parental Alienation Kills and this is a fine example of it. 2 weeks before this happened she took pills believing that her Dad didn't care. She was screaming out for him and I personally know that feeling. When one parent keeps the children from the other is a pure vendetta against the targeted Parent. The abuser of the other parent doesn't see that it's ripping our children apart. Damaging them and their ability to have healthy relationships in the future. All children deserve to have a ongoing active relationship with both Parents. Because at this point beyond Divorce It's no longer about us. It's all about the children and what's best for them. Abusers get custody daily. Most like Katlyns case where Mom went and lied to obtain a TPO. While still collecting child support without the child having ANY contact. In fact lied to about them " he/she don't care, love them. My case was TextBook also, I didn't have money after leaving my abuser. He had a lawyer and I didn't. I was in fear of repercussions so all I could do was beg for a lawyer. Even with obvious DV/FV I was still denied. The judge don't even know my side. Because he had been my sole provider for 18yrs He got custody. Here I am 3 yrs later and still going to court, jail but still fighting for my girls, and always will. I spread awareness of PA and the dangers of it.
