The case of Sky, is one of the many cases where dogs and cats are euthanized not due to real behavior problems but because they are scared and do not do well in the cages of ACC NYC! Who would cope when left alone in a strange foreign place with unknown people that handle you! Who would do well??? The job of a care center is to take care of these animals not to kill them due to lack of SPACE or fear!!! This is horrendous! in 2018 we are still behaving like back to Spanish inquisition! There is no empathy in the NY Animal center, one of the many! Dogs did not ask us to be part of our lives! We introduced them as pets, as companion, as guarding, as working or utility pet! So the least is to take care of them, be there for them! Raise your hand and be there for Sky as for many others! Euthanize an healthy an adoptable animal is not human at all! Speak for them, speak out! Sign and share! Let them know we are watching them, and we disagree!! Public opinion can have power if we all stand up together! NO KILL for adoptable animals has to start NOW!
