An email was sent out yesterday inviting all housing providers in Ontario (or elsewhere if you're visiting) to Peterborough, Ontario to a meeting this coming Tuesday April 09, 2024, starting at 7:00 pm. CBC will be interviewing Weiting Bollu, president of Openroom.ca.
CBC also asked if I would be there so I agreed to attend. The Peterborough Landlord Association (PLA) then asked me if I'd also speak at the meeting about the auto-evict petition, so I'm doing that too.
The Openroom and Petition presentation will each be perhaps an hour including time at the end of each for questions.
Since yesterday, I have received confirmation emails of attendance from the Quinte (Belleville) Region Landlords Association, Durham Landlords Association, and individual housing providers from Kitchener, downtown Toronto, Mississauga, Oshawa and Vaughan. I received further emails from others who hope to make it.

The PLA meets at the Greek Orthodox Church (lower level at the back) at 406 Parkhill Road East, Peterborough, K9L 1C1
The first presentation starts at 7:00 pm. I will be there by 6:30 pm.
The more faces the CBC sees, the better it is for all of us.
