Electricity is a basic human right these days.  Continuous and safe supply must be ensured by the company responsible for it.

K-Elecreic has completely failed to do so and over 22 million residents have been living a miserable life in Karachi, the biggest city of  Pakistan.

Hundreds of people die every year during rain or otherwise due to their lack of investment and  years old infrastructure.

Unannounced load shedding for hours in the city forces people including children to stay in their homes in hot weather without electricity where poor are suffering the most.

K-Electric has monopolized this sector from the beginning, leaving no choice for the people but to be at their mercy no matter what.

Their electricity bills increase with unprecedented percentage every month without any check and balance. They are minting money full time.

Specially during Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown K-Electric has really made life difficult for the people.

We demand the Government of Pakistan and the Supreme Court of Pakistan to allow other companies to operateaoperate provide electricity to people so that K-Electric has a competition. This is the only proven way to provide better, safe and continuous service to the community.
