Advocate Kholeka Gcaleka, who recently cleared President Cyril Ramaphosa of wrongdoing and said the charges against him were based on hearsay has now been named as Public Protector! Her Phala Phala Report is fundamentally flawed and should be reviewed for it seeks to exonerate the delinquent Ramaphosa, setting a terrible example in an office of such importance, and in a country where the corrupt already think they are invincible.

Daily, in this country, powerful figures are seen swiftly evading the arm of the law or any consequences of wrongdoing because of the amount of power they hold, I believe that Kholeka Gcaleka failed at being neutral in her investigations, and considering that, she may not have been independent as she needed the approval of the President and the ANC’s parliamentary committee in order to be permanently appointed as the public protector - this will obviously ruin the office of the Public Protector and encourage favours as currency in her new permanent in the role.
