We think Southern Highlanders deserve better access to the performing arts. Many regional communities like ours already have great facilities like this. This petition is about confirming whether or not our community is keen to have a local multipurpose performing arts centre.

There are school halls, the Playhouse at Mittagong, and the recently renovated Bowral Memorial Hall, but none of these have the capacity, availability and position that tick all the boxes for accessibility and amenity.

There are a lot of issues related to such a project that need working through with the community, but right now we just want to know that we have your support for the base concept. 

Signing this petition will confirm that we have a groundswell of support that cannot be ignored at local, state or federal level. It will assist us as we attempt to seek approvals at every level to deliver this.
