We are READY for High-Quality Schools
The Issue
READY seeks to engage, empower, and mobilize students, families, educators, and community members to create a bold and innovative vision for education in Rochester.
We, the undersigned, know Rochester’s children can succeed academically if they attend high-quality schools with highly effective educators who are dedicated to student success and support high levels of parent partnership and engagement.
We recognize and support the need to meet the educational and emotional needs of Rochester’s children with the creation of:
- More high-quality schools and learning opportunities,
- Meaningful parent partnership and leadership opportunities,
- Innovative teacher and leader pipelines to recruit and support educators of color, and
- Supportive policies and legislation to promote education reform.
And, we hereby support the Rochester Education Fellowship and the transformation of Rochester’s public education systems with equitable, transparent, and bold goals to improve academic and life outcomes for our children.
