JUSTICE FOR LORENZO DEMARCUS PEREZ

 

My nephew was born on December 3rd of year 2000. He was a very happy baby and was so chubby. We instantly gave him the nickname “jiggly puff” he was the cutest with his unibrow. He was the youngest out of my sisters 3 boys then he became a big brother to his sister. He was always overprotective and responsible. Growing up was tough at times for them because they didn’t have a father’s love nor that relationship with their father as all children should but that didn’t stop him from being the person he was meant to be. My nephew Lorenzo was so caring and generous. If he had $10 he would offer them to anyone because he was always a giving person or he would buy his little cousins food if they were hungry. He just had a heart of gold. 
As a teen , he loved to take things apart and put them back together. He could literally take a whole entire truck apart and rebuild it.

Fast forward to a year ago,

My nephew was 21 years old. He had a very bright future ahead of him. He was the son that every mother would love to have. Everything he did was to make sure his mom was happy and good. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t want to buy her or for her to have. He was considered the man of the family and the one that provided. He was 21 years old and had numerous of trucks and always bragged about his blue titles. I can go on and on but I’m moving forward to any parents worse nightmare.

On June 29, 2022 

My nephew was picked up by his so called friends. They were on there way to the suspects (Andres Ramirez) house to visit (Andres brother) between that time the suspect (Andres Ramirez) called my nephew (Lorenzo) for a ride. My nephew agreed and they picked him up and headed to the suspect’s house. They arrived and my nephew proceeded to go inside and help his friend (Tuli) which is (Andres brother) outside because he’s in a wheelchair. When it was time to go my nephew(Lorenzo ) helped him back inside and while my nephew was pushing Tuli’s  wheelchair the suspect (Andres Ramirez) shot him over and over and over and over and over and over until the clip was empty and while my nephew laid there helplessly, the suspect still aggravated assaulted my nephew while he was on the ground and yelled!

Everyone hesitated to help my nephew but just one friend. While his friend tried to carry my nephew to the back seat of the vehicle no one else helped!!!
The suspect (Andres Ramirez) fled the scene with his mother’s help. ((Yet she was never charged for tampering with evidence)) The mother removed the evidence and the clothes her son had on with blood )) they never dialed 911.

My nephew (Lorenzo) was taken to the nearest hospital and left dead in the entrance. The friends he loved to death and hung around with every day fled the hospital and almost injured the security guard doing so….  
We received the news and desperately headed to the hospital and the detectives were more concerned about the security than our grief.

We were in so much disbelief that “OUR BABY WAS FOREVER GONE”

We have been waiting a year and 1 month and today we were informed that this monster((ANDRES RAMIREZ))  that viciously took my nephews life for no reason at all, is most likely signing  for a 10 year plea deal.

How is this possible? How can someone take someone else’s life and ruin our entire lifetime without paying with his life?  We demand for the DA to reconsider this plea deal and take him to trial.

 We as his family demand JUSTICE FOR LORENZO DEMARCUS PEREZ GONZALEZ!!!

The mother that ran to hide her child after a murder will forever get to hug her child, write her child, see her child grow older, will be allowed visits and celebrate birthdays, holidays and special occasions with her family.

We will never get to experience any of that ever!

We never had the chance to hug him and tell him how much we love him. We visit a cemetery every day and cry and feel guilty for not being there to hug him in his last moments. 

10 years is NOT justice, 20 years is NOT Justice but we demand for him to pay for what he did with a lifetime sentence.

 

 

This man cannot be let free!
