We recently received an email regarding rezoning our community to a new middle school. Our community has always had Mills Park Middle as our base middle school. We are being assigned Alston Ridge Middle school to accommodate some of the newer community that has come around us. Our calendar option is West Cary Middle which is totally unacceptable as it is over 8 miles away. This is totally unfair. We are having to bear the burden of these new commumities. We do not want this change. The board needs to review their decision regarding this change. New Communities can be assigned the new school and  communities that are over 5 years old should be allowed to continue with the base school that we have. We do not want a change.
