The closest audible warning signal/siren to the Waynedale community is more than 2 miles away and can only be heard 3/4 of a mile from where it is located. This part of Fort Wayne is growing quickly and is in need of an audible system to be alerted to potential public health,public safety and environmental/weather-related emergencies.

As a citizen of Fort Wayne and resident of Waynedale,I favor an initiative to place an audible warning signal/siren in a central locale in Waynedale.

As a property owner/registered voter,I want to be alerted to potential public health,public safety and environmental/weather-related emergencies.

I ask that the Mayor's office undertake this initiative in conjunction with duly elected and appointed representatives,to see that such a warning device be installed as soon as practical.
