On August 10,2021 a beloved dog named Ludwig was shot to death while swimming and fetching sticks in the Fox River in St. Charles, IL. An evil man named Hal Phipps who is the husband of village president of Wayne county Eileen Phipps shot poor Ludwig 3 times before finally the bullet on his chest chest killed him. The owner of Ludwig, Joe Petit describes his dogs as loving and submissive. On the day of the shooting Ludwig and his sibling Philotimo were swimming and fetching sticks on Fox River while being watched by a close friend of Joe Petit. Kathleen Czaplewski was watching both dogs when she heard pop, pop, pop. Poor Ludwig was shot and owner rushed him to the vet but he does on the way there. The village president Eileen Phipps and her husband Hal Phipps made up stories that the dog attacked her husband and he feared for his life so he took his gun and shot Ludwig, But Ludwig was nowhere near their home because he was swimming in the Fox River. Justice has not been served for Ludwig. Eileen Phipps Should not use her power to buy lies to cover up the truth. This is considered a horrendous act of animal murder.
