This is a petition to gain public support for a community swimming pool to be reinstated at the Middleton Leisure Centre LS10.

Previously a pool was a great Community resource and it could be again. We feel a pool would be beneficial to the community which has grown with thousands of residents moving to the area since the closure of the original pool in 2012. A new pool would help promote healthy living as well as encourage local people especially children to swim both for safety & as a hobby.

I feel this is something that would benefit local schools too enabling them to save money on transport to pools further away and may'be enabling them to put the funding elsewhere.
