WE STRONGLY OPPOSE THE EARLY PAROLE OF DANIEL HINTON
On the evening of December 26th, 2000, Aaron C. Coyle was murdered in cold blood, during an attempted robbery in a parking lot of a Johnstown Pa pool hall. He was 18 years old and set to graduate from Greater Johnstown High School in just a few months. Aaron was standing outside talking to friends in a vehicle when two masked gunman approached and attempted to rob the teens. Daniel Hinton was pointing a gun at the teens in the vehicle demanding money while his accomplice, Joseph Hogan Jr, attempted to rob Aaron, then shot and killed him. The two men then ran, leaving Aaron to die. The teens in the vehicle were witnesses to the brutal and senseless murder of their friend. DANIEL HINTON accepted a plea deal for a lighter sentence. He pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy robbery and criminal attempted theft and was sentenced to 17 1/2 to 35 years. Daniel Hinton will have only served 16 years of his sentence when he is considered for parole. Aarons life was tragically cut short due to a senseless act of violence. Aaron, at only 18 years old, left behind a loving and devoted Father, Mother and Sister. Christmas will always leave a tragic reminder of that night for those who loved and cared for Aaron the most. His murder rocked an entire community and left an emptiness with so many. Even though Daniel Hinton is not the man who pulled the trigger, he is still just as much at fault for ending Aarons life. All that we ask is that Daniel Hinton serve the FULL PRISON TERM that was given to him at the time he was sentenced, for his part in this heinous crime. WE STRONGLY OPPOSE THE EARLY PAROLE OF DANIEL HINTON.
